Meriden is a small city located in the center of the State. There are a wide variety of condo communities and a few Active Adult complexes. Below is a list of each community, plus their features and amenities. Abbey Park (Bee St) - Built in 1987, this small 26 unit complex has 2 bedroom townhouses, some with finished basements. Condos are approximately 1100sf with garages under. Located close to Rt 91, 15 and 691. Allen Court (Allen Ave) - Another small complex built in 1987 with 9 townhouses with garages under. Units are just under 1000 sf with 2 bedrooms. This community is located near Hubbard Park and Rt 691. Atrium (East Main St) - 94 unit complex with 1-2 bedroom ranch style condos between 800-1500 sf. Built in 1970, this brick exterior building has central entrances, three levels with elevator access. Amenities include central air and a pool. Blackstone Village (No Broad St) - Built in 1971, this complex has townhouses and ranch condos. There are 280 units located on the north end of Meriden, near the Berlin Turnpike. Most townhouses have garages under. Amenities include a pool. Bridgefield Commons (Baldwin Ave) - 55 and over community of free standing condos built 2008-2009. Homes are approximately 1800 sf, 3 bedrooms and a garage. Brittney Court (Britannia St) - Built in 1988, this small 16 unit complex has 1000 sf, 2 bedroom townhouses, each with 1 car garage under. Broad Briar (Broad St) - Brick exterior townhouses in 16 unit complex located near city center. Built in 1986, each condo is approximately 1000 sf with 2 bedrooms and 1.1 baths. Broad Crest Commons (Broad St) - Built in 1988, 30 unit complex of 2 bedroom townhouses approximately 1000 sf, some with finished basements. Broad St Condos - Small 12 unit complex of 2 bedroom 900 sf townhouses built in 1985, located near close to shopping and dining. Broadview (So Broad St) - Located near the Wallingford line, this 62 unit complex built in 1987 has townhouses and ranch style condos. Units are between 800-1200 sf, some with decks. Townhouses have carports under the building. Carriage Crossing (North Colony Rd) - Built in 1987, this 8 unit complex has two bedrooms and garage under. Condos are approximately 900 sf. Carriage House (Willow St) - Brick exterior 6 unit complex built in 1983 with two bedrooms and garages under. Each unit is approximately 1000 sf. Carriage Works (Center St) - 16 unit complex built in 1987 has 2 bedroom townhouses and ranch style condos. Crown Village (Crown St) - Converted 250+ unit complex with 1-2 bedroom ranch style condos. Brick exteriors with shared entrances, upper level units with decks. Amenities include a pool. Curtis Estates (Curtis St) - Built in 1989, this Victorian style home has three 2 bedroom condos. Lovely front porch over looking neighborhood of many historic homes. East Gate Commons (Gravel St) - Brick exterior buildings with 78 units consisting of 700 sf ranch style 2 bedroom units built in 1972. Emily Commons (So Vine St) - Built in 2008, this three unit complex has 2 bedroom, 2.1 bath condos with 1100 sf. Gregory Court (Webb St) - 12 unit complex built in 1990 with 900 sf townhouses with two bedrooms, some with finished basements. Gwen Place (Gwen Rd) - Two unit attached townhouses built in 2007 with 1200 sf, 2 bedrooms, 1.1 baths and a one car garage. Hanover Pond (Cutlery Ave) - Small complex built in 2009. There are 3 1150 sf townhouses with 2 bedrooms and 1.1 baths. Located near Hanover Pond. Hidden Gable (Reservoir Ave) - Built in 1987-2005, this 36 unit complex has 1200-1400 sf townhouses with 2 bedrooms and 2.1 baths, some with finished basements and garages. Hidden Woods (Bacon St) - 15 unit complex built in 2007-2008. There are 1200-1600 sf townhouses with 2 bedrooms and garages under. Hideaway Manor (So Broad St) - Small complex built in 1985 with 10 townhouses, each with 2 bedrooms and 1.1 baths, some with finished basements. Hollowbrook (W Main St) - Located near Hubbard Park, this 58 unit complex has townhouses with 1300-1800 sf. There are two phases, one built in 1988 and the other in 2006. LaMirage (No Colony) - This community offers 87 units, with 1000-1300 sf townhouses. Features included 2 bedrooms, 1.1 baths and garages under. These condos were built in 1987. Lake Ridge (No Colony) - Located near the Berlin town line, these townhouses have 2-3 bedrooms, central air and some with garages under. The community of 64 units was built in 1998. Mattabasset (Baldwin Ave) - East side community of 185 2-3 BR condos, consisting of 1200-1400 sf townhouses with garages under, plus free standing homes (colonials, capes, raised ranches). Amenities include pool, basketball and walking trails. Meetinghouse Village (Yale Ave) - 104 unit complex located on East side includes 2-3 bedroom townhouses with garages under. Units are 1200 sf and some have additional finished sq ft in the lower level. Amenities include pool, clubhouse, exercise, tennis and a pond. Morsetown (Hill St) - Built in 1986, this 18 unit complex has 1000 sf 2 BR townhouses with 1.1 baths, some with finished basements. Mountain View (E Main St) - Located near the Middlefield line, this 30 unit complex has 2 BR townhouses with garages under. The condos were built in 1986. Northwood (No Colony) - Built in 1987, this community has 24 ranch style condos with common entrances. The condos are 570 sf with one bedroom. Old Colony Commons (Hicks St) - 34 unit complex of 2 BR, 1.1 bath townhouses each with 1008 sf. The community was built in 1985. Old Stagecoach (No Colony) - This community was built in 1988, consisting of 44 townhouses that are between 1000-1200 sf, some with finished basements. Units have 2 bedrooms and 1.1 baths. Overlook Point (Broad St) - 24 Townhouses built in 1990 with 2 bedrooms and 1.1 baths, with garages under. These units are approximately 1000 sf. Paddock Village (Paddock Ave) - Built in 1990 & 2001, this East side complex has townhouses 2 bedrooms and 2.1 baths with garages under and decks off back. Pine Meadow (Old Colony Rd) - This complex consists of 1000 sf 2 BR townhouses and 800 sf 1 BR ranch condos. Townhouses have garages under and decks. The community was built in 1987. Preston Woods (Baldwin Ave) - Built in 2009-2010, this Active Adult community has 2-3 BR free standing condos between 1400-2000 sf. There will be 13 homes in this Eastside community. Quarry Farms (Quarry Ln) - Built in 2005, this community offers 1400-1500 sf 2 BR, 1.1 bath townhouses with garages under. Quinnipiac Village (Hanover Ave) - So. Meriden community built in 1989, with 29 condos consisting of townhouses and some ranch style units. Located close to the Wallingford line. Redstone Commons (Woodland St) - Small complex of 11 condos, each townhouse has 2 bedrooms and 1.1 baths, plus garages under. These condos were built in 2005. Roselyn Gardens (No Colony Rd) - Built in 1987, this small community of 16 condos include 2 BR townhouses with 1.1 baths and some with finished basements. Spruce Hollow (Britannia St) - 14 unit complex built in 1987, with 900 sf 2 BR townhouses, some with finished basements. Located near the city center. Sterling Village (Yale Ave) - Built in 1978, this large community of 294 townhouses and ranch style condos is surrounded by beautiful grounds and amenities. Strawberry Hill (Woodland St) - Small 15 unit complex of 1000 sf 2 BR townhouses with garages under. Located on West side, not far from the mall. The Falls (Birdsey Ave) - Another small complex of six townhouses with 2 BR and 1.1 baths. Units are approximately 900 sf. This community is located near the Middlefield line. Vantage Point (No Colony Rd) - Built in 1988, this 16 unit community has 1100 sf townhouses with 2 BR and 1.1 baths, each with a garage under. Villa East (E Main St) - 30 unit East side complex with 2 BR townhouses, some split level style. Each condo is approximately 1100 sf and has a garage under. Located near Middlefield line. Village View (Dana Ln) - So Meriden community of 33 townhouses with 2 BR and 1300-1500 sf, each with garages under. The community is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Village Walk (Main St) - Located within the center of the Village of So Meriden, this small complex of 7 townhouses offers 1-2 bedroom, 1.1 bath units between 700-850 sf. Webb Manor (Gravel St) - Built 1965-1968, this complex has ranch style and townhouses ranching between 700-1400 sf. Woodland Heights (Woodland St) - Another small complex on West side with 4 townhouses, 2 BR, 1 bath and a garage. Woodland Ridge (Woodland Ct) - Built in 1988, this 39 unit community has townhouses and single unit condos, ranching from 900-1100 sf. Located near town center. Whitney Ct (Woodley Ct) - Built in 1985, this 32 unit complex consists of 2 BR townhouses with garages under. There is also a converted building with ranch style condos similar to Manhattan lofts. |
